TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Regionaltangente West (RTW) is a new tangential rail connection in the Rhine-Main region to improve local public passenger rail transport in the Frankfurt am Main conurbation. It primarily serves to provide a better connection between the western districts of the City of Frankfurt am Main and the surrounding counties, cities and municipalities with one another and to provide a better connection to Frankfurt Airport. The project is divided into planning approval sections PFA Nord, PFA Mitte as well as PFA Süd I and Süd II. The tender procedure covered by this call for tenders is located in the planning approval section Süd 1. The planning approval decision for Süd 1 is enclosed with the tender documents and must be taken into account during execution of the work. The subject of this tender procedure comprises the following services: - Construction of a single- and double-track track superstructure in accordance with EBO in the area from Mörfelder Landstraße to Bf Neu-Isenburg (km 0.1+00 to km 3.8+37) in planning approval section Süd 1, and - the required infrastructure connections to the existing infrastructure of the DB InfraGO AG lines 3650, 35651 and 3688.
