TENDER DESCRIPTION

Reutlingen Utilities GmbH operates, together with the City of Reutlingen, several indoor and leisure pools as well as an outdoor swimming pool. To ensure long-term operation of the swimming facilities and to sustainably further develop the existing pools, Reutlingen Utilities GmbH is implementing measures for the repair, enhancement, and modernization of its pools step by step. The Achalm Baths located in the city centre of Reutlingen were opened in November 1929 and have been used as a swimming pool ever since. The building, constructed in the Bauhaus style, is under heritage (listed building) protection. The requirements of heritage protection must therefore be taken into account for all planning and execution services, insofar as they relate to the subject of the contract, and must be coordinated with the other public-law and technical requirements. Since 2021, the Achalm Baths have been gradually refurbished and modernized during ongoing operations.
