TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Metropolitan Region Rotterdam The Hague (MRDH) is looking for a good tender submission from a provider of shared bicycles for a pilot of a regional public shared bicycle system. The system consists of electric shared bicycles as well as shared bicycles without pedal assist. The MRDH intends to award a concession contract for the pilot for a regional shared bicycle system for a period of 3 years, with two options to extend for 1 year each. The MRDH is issuing this public procurement procedure for the award of this concession contract. This is a joint procurement. The MRDH acts in this procurement as contracting authority and contracting lead, also on behalf of the following municipalities: Delft, The Hague, Lansingerland, Leidschendam-Voorburg, Pijnacker-Nootdorp, Rijswijk, Wassenaar and Zoetermeer. The estimated value of the contract for three years, excluding payments for user usage and excluding the research projects, is € 1,500,000 excl. VAT, price level 1 January 2027.
