TENDER DESCRIPTION
The subject of this invitation to tender is the collection, sorting, if necessary franking, transport and delivery of the daily addressed letter items arising from the central printing facility of BKK VerbundPlus in accordance with the provisions of the Postal Act (PostG) as amended on 18.7.2024 and the service specification. The daily mail (“Tagespost”) consists exclusively of letter items pursuant to § 16(1), no. 1 PostG (universal service). Letter items with value-added services (registered mail and postal delivery orders), printed matter and mass mailings with identical content with extended delivery time limits are not part of this service specification. The annual volume of letters amounts on average to approximately 550,000 letter items. Delivery to the recipient takes place in principle within Germany. To a small extent, letters to foreign countries must also be transported.
