TENDER DESCRIPTION

Planning, delivery, installation, calibration, commissioning, operation and maintenance of a LiDAR-based sensor and evaluation solution for the area of border control entry B-Mitte, Terminal 1, level 3 at Frankfurt/Main Airport, including dashboard, data storage, interfaces, remote monitoring, support and performance reporting. The area of use is located in the waiting area in front of border control entry B-Mitte, including the upstream EES kiosk areas West and East. The area is located in the air-security controlled area (Critical Part). The solution is intended to support operational situation assessment, seasonal planning, forecasting and a possible load distribution to other border controls. The procurement pursues the following objectives: ● Objective and timely recording of passenger arrivals, departures, occupancy and waiting times. ● Transparency regarding the use of the EES kiosks and the upstream waiting areas. ● Early detection of defined overload situations and triggering target-audience-appropriate warnings. ● Provision of historical data, movement histories and heat maps for planning, process improvement and possible load distribution to other border…
