TENDER DESCRIPTION

The object of the public procurement contract that is intended to be awarded is the supply of 3 units of plug-in hybrid minibuses within the project, “Green School Transport for Students in Mehedinți County”, with a capacity of 16 + 1 seats. UAT Mehedinți County obtained the funding granted by the Administration of the Environmental Fund, under the program concerning the improvement of air quality and the reduction of the amount of greenhouse gas, by using student transport with less polluting vehicles such as electric, hybrid minibuses and those powered by compressed natural gas. Not all schools in Mehedinți County can ensure the transport of students to and from school, while others have means of transport that do not ensure transport under optimal conditions for students and present a high level of carbon emissions, affecting environmental quality; therefore, this acquisition was considered appropriate.
