TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject matter is a framework contract with a voucher volume of 3,000 pre-paid vouchers with call-off quantity entitlement. A voucher covers sequencing and data processing as well as the provision of raw and processed data for each analysed bioprobe. Sequencing and data processing are awarded jointly to a single contractor, contrary to the principle of lot allocation. This is technically necessary: Acceptance of sequencing quality and the decision on repeating or re-sequencing individual samples are made exclusively on the basis of the QC feedback from the data processing performed directly by the same contractor. Splitting the work between two contractors would create an additional contractual coordination and liability interface at this point and would delay the intended timely decision on repeat/re-sequencing.
