TENDER DESCRIPTION

The AOK Niedersachsen offers the active substance combination of perindopril, indapamide and amlodipine (ATC code: C09BX01). For the period up to the entry into force of exclusive contracts as a result of a formal procurement procedure in accordance with the rules of Part 4 of the GWB (German Act against Restraints of Competition), the health insurance fund offers all interested pharmaceutical companies, without any selection decision, discount contracts on an “open-house model” basis. The contract awards are made as part of an “open-house model” and serve as a bridge between the start of generic competition (expiry of the patent) and the award of exclusive contracts. The contracts offered are non-exclusive; contracts with all market participants (pharmaceutical companies) are desired by AOK Niedersachsen. In the open-house model, uniform conditions apply to all participants. Contract content, terms and conditions and access procedures are uniform—individual negotiations are generally not carried out.
