TENDER DESCRIPTION

Stadtwerke Bielefeld operates a heterogeneous IT landscape with a variety of applications and systems. The management of user identities and access rights is currently carried out partly decentrally and system-specifically. To improve the management of identities and permissions, a central structure for managing digital identities is being established as part of an IAM project. The goal of the IAM project is the introduction of a central IAM service for managing digital identities as well as for the structured and role-based allocation of permissions to applications and systems. For this purpose, an IAM governance structure is to be established and a technical IAM solution introduced and rolled out. Specifically, this means the further development of IAM processes, the design of a roles and permissions model, the introduction of a central IAM solution as well as the integration of applications (from Q3 2027 onwards) and the preparation of organizational structures for the future operation of the IAM service.
