TENDER DESCRIPTION

The municipality of Bernhardswald plans an extension to Bernhardswald primary school for the all-day care of primary school pupils. As part of a feasibility study, several locations for the extension were examined and assessed. The approved preliminary design for the cooperative full-day programme in the form of an extension provides for the dining hall, the kitchen, a cloakroom area and a barrier-free WC to be connected to the already existing corridor zone in the north-east of the school building. In this context, the existing break hall will also be enlarged. As the school building is a split-level building, the installation of a lift is also intended by relocating a stair platform. In addition, existing rooms of the after-school care and the lunchtime care in the basement level of the primary school will be included in the room programme for the cooperative full-day programme.
