TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Gemeinschaftsgrundschule (GGS) Vorst is the local district school for the Stadtteile Vorst and Driesch and is run inclusively as part of the open all-day programme. The school operation is currently organised in three forms of entry, with currently 11 and, from the school year 2027/2028, prospectively 12 year-group-separate classes. At present, 295 pupils attend the school. The school complex consists of a two-storey existing building from the building years 1964 and 1974, which was supplemented by an extension building from 2017 (administration area and open all-day school - OGS). In addition, to cover the space requirements, a container module with two further classrooms was erected. With the commissioning of the administration block, the school is made barrier-free and meets the current requirements for inclusion. In total, currently 12 classrooms are available in the existing building and module construction. The OGS is housed in the new building from 2017 and currently includes five supervision rooms as well as a cafeteria with approx. 50 seats.
