TENDER DESCRIPTION

For the demolition and new build of the children’s and youth facility “Wilde Rübe”, structural engineering services, LP 1 to 6, will be awarded. The building from the 1970s is structurally outdated, with limited kitchen use and poorly lit rooms with no connection to a garden. The sanitary facilities are also outdated and arranged unfavourably. In addition, the building cannot currently be operated autonomously from the adjacent Kita. The media/technical systems, e.g. heating, are connected to the Kita, so work there has direct consequences for the Wilde Rübe. Therefore, all services are to be routed separately and connected. The construction of the building and the day-care centre consists of Variel room modules (Variel-Raumzellen) with reinforced concrete frames. The roof structure consists of steel beams and trapezoidal profiled metal sheets. According to the hazardous substance assessment, hazardous substances were identified in the building. For the new build, the costs for proper disposal of building components that are contaminated with hazardous substances must be taken into account.
