TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Weinheim intends to carry out a replacement new-build project for the daycare centre “Kita Waid” on the plot Hammerweg 7 in 69469 Weinheim, cadastral plot no. 13113. The subject of the project is the construction of a two-group daycare centre including rooms for IG Waid. The reason for the new-build design is significant structural defects in the existing building. The plot, which is approximately 1,750 m² in area, is located on the eastern edge of an existing residential area. At present, the existing daycare centre is located on the plot in a basemented building that was originally constructed as a school building. The available open spaces are used primarily as outdoor play areas and are mostly landscaped. The plot has a slight gradient towards the west. In addition, in the north-western part of the plot there is a clear level difference of almost 3 m. The site topography must be taken into account in particular in relation to the building layout, barrier-free access, and plot drainage.
