TENDER DESCRIPTION

We hereby refer to the tender No. 2026005415, which involves a similar procurement type. At the CHP plant Köpenick site, the two identical hot water generation systems HWE 40 and HWE 50 must be replaced by new systems with almost identical capacity as large hot-water boiler room boiler design (in accordance with EN 12953). HWE 40 has been out of operation for several years and only HWE 50 is currently still in operation alongside HWE 30. In order not to jeopardize the supply security at the site and/or not to further restrict it, a phased approach for the replacement of first HWE 40 and subsequently HWE 50 is mandatory. The two hot water generators to be newly installed are to be connected again, below the boiler house ceiling, to the existing flue gas ducts. For complete installation and removal of the HWE units, sufficiently large gate/door systems are to be erected. The scope of the tender comprises in full all services required to replace the hot water generators described at the outset with new systems ready for operation.
