TENDER DESCRIPTION

With the overall project “Creating an attractive living environment and strengthening tourism development at Lake Geiseltalsee – Neumark Beach”, the contracting authority aims to strengthen the region around Lake Geiseltalsee in a sustainable manner. By expanding the infrastructure, tourism appeal is to be enhanced at the same time and family appeal improved, as well as the conditions for people in the region to have a place to live and relax being strengthened. The overall project consists of three individual projects, namely the development of the Frankleben and Neumark beaches and a new build of the day nursery “Sonnenschein” within the city of Braunsbedra. Working together, all three sub-projects “Neumark Beach”, “Frankleben Beach” and the day nursery “Sonnenschein” are expected to generate high synergy effects in terms of the attractiveness of the area, in particular with regard to attracting residents (in-migration).
