TENDER DESCRIPTION

In the event of WGA self-insurer risk-bearing status, the employer is directly responsible for financing the WGA benefits attributable to the employer (up to a maximum of 10 years after the award). In addition, the obligation to promote reintegration after the awarding of a WGA benefit transfers from UWV to the employer. To cover the risks associated with WGA self-insurer risk-bearing status, the Contracting Authority wishes to take out a WGA Self-Insurer Insurance. This is a private insurance arrangement for financing the WGA Fixed and WGA flex benefits attributable to the employer. As of the reference date of 1 September 2026, the Contracting Authority has a total of 362 employees in its service. The expected WIA wage bill in 2026 amounts to approximately € 20.5 million. For the assessment of the risk and the determination of the terms and conditions, the Contracting Authority provides a secured Excel document containing anonymised personnel data, a list of sick employees and WIA inflow.
