TENDER DESCRIPTION

OEW Breitband GmbH (OEW BB) has been commissioned by the municipality of Betzenweiler to tender, in its name, network operation for the passive fiber-optic network to be built in the municipality’s territory. The municipality of Betzenweiler, located in the district of Biberach, within the scope of the federal government’s broadband funding, within a operator model, is building a passive fiber-optic network to supply approximately 770 residents with future-proof broadband connections. The passive fiber-optic infrastructure built for this purpose is intended to be leased to a network operator. This invitation to tender covers exclusively address points whose development is carried out via the DGF program. At present, the invitation to tender for planning services is being prepared, with publication planned by the end of 2026. The construction tender is expected to be carried out in the summer of 2027; commissioning is expected to take place by the end of 2028.
