TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Gemeinschaftsgrundschule (GGS) Vorst is the local-area school for the districts of Vorst and Dries and is run inclusively within the open all-day care (offener Ganztag). School operations are currently organised in three forms of entry (three parallel classes per grade), with currently 11 and, in perspective, from the 2027/2028 school year with 12 grade-level-separated classes. A total of 295 pupils attend the school at present. The school ensemble consists of a two-storey existing building from the years 1964 and 1974, which was supplemented by an extension building from 2017 (administration area and open all-day school - OGS). In addition, to cover the space requirements, a container module with two further classrooms was erected. With the commissioning of the administration block, the school is made barrier-free and meets the current requirements for inclusion. Overall, a total of 12 classrooms are currently available in the existing building and modular construction. The OGS is located in the new building from 2017 and currently comprises five care rooms as well as a cafeteria (canteen) with approx. 50 seats.
