TENDER DESCRIPTION

The road maintenance contract is a target-price service contract that emphasizes cooperation between the contracting authority and the contractor during the term of the contract. Under the road maintenance contract, the contractor is responsible for supervision management tasks, procurement of maintenance work, and contract-compliant maintenance services. The contract covers winter and summer maintenance of roads in accordance with the contract documents. The total road network covered by the contract is approximately 1,155 kilometres, of which approximately 135 km are single-lane (Is) carriageways, approximately 140 km are single-lane (Ib) carriageways, approximately 500 km are gravel roads, and approximately 60 km are foot and cycling paths.
