TENDER DESCRIPTION

The road maintenance contract is a target-price service contract that emphasises cooperation during the contract period between the contracting authority and the contractor. In the road maintenance contract, the contractor is responsible for maintenance management tasks, procurement of maintenance works, and contract-compliant maintenance services. The contract covers winter and summer maintenance of roads in accordance with the contract documents. The contract includes the summer and winter maintenance of roads located in the municipality of Kristinestad within the contract area. The road network covered by the contract totals approximately 900 kilometres, of which approximately 130 km are single carriageway roads (category Is) and approximately 185 km are single carriageway roads (category Ib), approximately 245 km are gravel roads, and approximately 45 km are pedestrian and cycle paths.
