TENDER DESCRIPTION

The municipality of Engelthal operates the day-care centre “Haus der Kinder”. The older part of the building dates from the 1970s, while the newer part was built in 1993. Due to the ongoing high demand for childcare places, the municipality of Engelthal has decided to renovate and extend the existing day-care centre. The target structure for the future day-care centre is intended to enable the care of 120 children in two crèche groups, two kindergarten groups and one after-school (Hort) group. The spatial program required for this must be coordinated with the competent authorities. In addition, a multi-purpose room for municipal events or for use by clubs is to be provided. This room must be usable independently of the day-care centre, which requires separate access. The possibility of integrating a second after-school (Hort) group into the floor plan is to be examined as part of the planning. The scope of the building services engineering assignment includes, on the one hand, the general renovation of the building part from 1993, the dismantling of the building part from the 1970s, and, on the other hand, a replacement new build.
